An increasing number of foreign researchers move to Finland for a research career. In this panel, we discuss the experiences of researchers who have received their education outside Finland and have moved to Finland to continue their research career here. The topics that will be addressed are the reasons for moving to Finland, the similarities and differences between different education systems, challenges experienced in Finland, societal engagement and future outlook.
