The next Science Forum, Finland's largest science festival, will take place from 20 to 24 January 2027 at the University of Helsinki Main Building and Think Corner. The Programme Committee will begin planning the event programme in August 2025.

The following members have been appointed to the Science Forum 2027 Programme Committee:

The Secretary of the Programme Committee is Mandi Vermilä, Secretary General of the Science Forum.

The Programme Committee is responsible for the Science Forum programme. It selects the event theme, develops programme ideas, invites speakers and evaluates programme proposals submitted by partner organisations. Over the course of five days, the Science Forum will feature dozens of events.

The Programme Committee is appointed by the Science Forum Steering Group, which consists of representatives of the festival's partner organisations. The Science Forum is organised in collaboration with the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies, Finnish Cultural Foundation, Tieteen tiedotus ry, Finnish Academy of Science and Letters, Finnish Society of Sciences and Letters, Finnish Academy of Technology, Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences in Finland and Kone Foundation.
